One of the brands to reckon with when it comes to top-quality wears is the Abercrombie and Fitch. If you are a fan of their top-quality casual wears, you would have noticed that Abercrombie and Fitch are also not new in the fragrance market. Over the years, they have released several different fragrances exclusively in their stores. However, if I’m to pick one of their launches that stand exceptional to me, it was the release of the Abercrombie and Fitch First Instinct cologne.
Launched in 2016 by Abercrombie and Fitch, First Instinct is the first fragrance to be sold out of the Abercrombie and Fitch boutiques. It is an irresistible Fougere Aromatic Amber that is meant for the confident men, who are not afraid to express their feelings.
Abercrombie and Fitch First Instinct is silver-grey in color and arrives in a clear glass bottle with the look of undulating water. In addition to its striated silver cap, the bottle has to its side, a silver plate that displays both the brand and the scent name.
Abercrombie and Fitch First Instinct cologne has a sophisticated fruit and floral top notes opening that will surprise many people who try this scent. The base notes comprise a mix of smooth warm amber and Suede musk, creating a faultless mix of oriental warmness and fougere elements. Although it is described as a fougère just like Fierce, one of the things I like about it is that it swerved off of the fierce architecture.
Whether you are going on a date or an important business meeting where you don’t want a scent that will be offensive, First Instinct would make a perfect choice for close contact encounters. Unlike anything else I can think of, this cologne is easy to wear, has a unique scent, and the formulation is not terribly long-lasting. This can work in its favour as the scent is extremely not heavy or overpowering (unlike other men’s cologne), making it perfect for everyday wearing.
Undeniably, this is one fragrance that will not look out of place on any dressing table. Since it is an easy-to-wear fragrance that I think many men will love, I’d suggest it as being the perfect choice when buying a perfume as a gift. I can’t imagine classy men not loving this beautiful fragrance!
